what size compressor

i plan to spray my locost so what size compressor should i look out for as there seems to be 25ltr 50ltr and so on
pluss a cfm ratting
also where is the best place to get one new or second hand i dont care

get the bigest one you can afford !!!
spray guns can use a lot of air but if your compressor is not quite big enough you can make it do ths job better by increasing the storage capacity . I did this once by using an out of date large Propane bottle once the valve was unscrewed from the top you will find that it has a standard plumbing thread in the bottle easy to get the right adaptors to hook it into your compressor ,no welding required so safe to do just put a T on the top one end to the compressor one to the gun .

First select your spraygun then choose a compressor to suit,most normal sprayguns need 3hp compressors but if you choose a gun with a smaller nozzle appature size you can spray with only a 1.5 hp compressors.
All the panels on a Seven are smalll and can be painted individually so even a small "touch-up gun" will do the job.
When selecting a comptressor for spraying free air delivery is more important than air reciever capacity, I couple together 2 x 1.5hp compressors with only 6 litre tanks the type norally used woth nail guns and tis works fine for me.
