Good stuff Let us all know how you get on with it!

mookaloid - 23/6/05 at 08:03 PM

will do

Jon Ison - 23/6/05 at 08:03 PM

to get the best out of it you want some thin shim/tin type material, just lift the wheel enough too slide the shim under too confirm its off the ground, any higher and you run the risk of unsettling the suspension enough too give you false readings as you move around the car, remember the car really needs to be on a level surface too.

Interesting point, How does everyone feel about loaning their tools out?

Cheers

Mark

Snuggs - 24/6/05 at 10:22 AM

I'd lend my tools to anyone that needs them.

ayoungman - 28/6/05 at 01:38 PM

Its all to do with trust. I lend tools out on the basis of "how likely am I to seeing it again"......and when will it be returned.
I think we have all probably lost tools over the years.

Jon Ison - 28/6/05 at 04:40 PM

fair point, i lent my front wishbone jig out over 2 years ago, not seen it since,

if your reading this can i have it back

Peteff - 28/6/05 at 06:08 PM

If I lend mine out I usually go with them. I lose too many that way.
