Hi chaps. I'm looking to pimp my garage. Anyone know where you can get those rubber mats for the floor?
I have seen them in various garages, they have dimples on them and link to the neighbours with dovetail link thing.
Any advice or comments?
Yeh, similar idea. I'm looking for ones that dont have holes in them. The idea of cleaning spilled gear oil on tiles with holes makes me
shudder.
Costco had some in but they were high density foam. I'm sure ive seen rubber ones somewhere.
Machine mart sell foam tiles and rubber floor (but it's on a roll, not tiles).
Foam Tiles
Rubber Sheet
I looked into the rubber interlocking tiles a while back. I think they were quite expensive, about £35 per square metre plus ramps for the edges.

As ever, google is your friend.
Search on garage floor tiles and you'll get plenty.
Example
IIRC these are very expensive for the amount you'll need to cover a normal sized garage. A 5 litre tin of garage floor paint is your best bet.
About £30 and it'll do about 2 coats (use a roller). As long as the concrete is sound to begin with it'll seal it so no dust and the paint
is easily cleaned from your accidents. Are you really intending to throw that much oil and muck on it anyway?
Try Action Garage
If you've got any available, a roll of old carpet is not bad. Keeps it a bit warmer and soaks up the odd spill!
I cut some to fit, hoovered crap off it occasionally and when the car was finished, binned the carpet.

Cheers guys. A hell of a price.
I'm actually going to chop my garage in half and make a warm room, nicely insulated and fancied some proper floor covering. Ive already got it
painted, fancied something a bit softer on the knees.
