Don't buy anything but Bosch they just keep cutting.

Have you not got a B&Q near you?

oliwb - 12/1/06 at 08:31 PM

Define near....I've got lots of places "near" to me but its a 45 min drive to and then back, not to mention parking and finding etc...so some times it is actually cheaper to pay the postage than the petrol! There's a machine mart sort of on the way back north from Edin anyway so will make a quick stop and get some there....don't think they do Bosch tho are Dewalt any good?? Same company aren't they? or is that Black and Decker...?? Oh well....Cheers Oli.

my approach with jigsaw blades is to buy loads of cheap ones, and just change it often. I use a fresh blade for every sink and hob i cut (out of 40mm chipboard). For metal, i just use b&qs cheap blades, nice small teeth and im actually still on the first blade (you might guess i dont cut much metal when fitting a kitchen!)

Ok, let me know what you want, I will post them to you, then you send me the money.
Am going to B&Q over the weekend,
Steve,

Thanks for the offer, but I'll swing by machine mart today before I head up north home.....Gotta get some stamps for my chassis number and pick up a dizzy anyway which are both next door to machine mart......thanks though...Oli.
