Just going to look at a second hand
Snap on mig 135 turbo welder for £100
bloke says about about 5yrs old excellent working and with wire, Hardly used.

know nothing about welders but seemed a good price, what should i look for?
or is better to go machine mart and get the same clarke model.

my clark one has performed well for about 2 or 3 years now, its finally getting old and needing care and attention (torch fiddling). £100 is nice and cheap, but it is 5 years old. I suppose it depends on the condition and quality of the tool.

I would say that £100 is a bit steep, as you can get a brand new 130 for a bit more complete with warranty (and no wear & tear) A 130 amp model is the smallest you would get away with for any serious work and you might even consider going up a notch.

Agree with RazMan. I bought a 130 & really wish I had gone higher now. If you're getting your first Mig, make it a 150 at least.

Ignore the Snap-On name, it will be a Cebora in disguise
