again, i'm having a tough time sourcing stuff here in spain. now its time to source where the hell to get an engine hoist/crane (dunno what to call it now)

where do you guys normally go to get such things? i have found a couple of places that sell one of these hydraulic foldable cranes. but they are far too expensive (around €400 the cheapest, rated for 1 tonne! i dont need that much!).

I have tried to find specialist shops but all i can find is the typical standard accessory shops. nothing past torque wrenches.

make one yourself with a winch / block & tackle?

are there no tool hire places? Loads over here who will hire that sort of thing for ~£30-40 a day.
