Petrol pipe airline?

I have a load of new 150psi petrol pipe (8mm ID). Can I use a sort length with barbed fittings and jublie clips for a short (30cm) air line (running at most 118psi)??

Any ideas?

ISTR Machine Mart sell the clear reinforced petrol pipe as airline.
