It was do do a rather large one off tank. Ended up that the profile of the tank didn't really need it. Hay ho.

I object to the common connotations of 'home made' having seen some 'professional' jobs.

i had a spark out once. When he had finnished his job, in three hours instead of the quoted 40 minutes, he proceeded to tell me how there were sparks and then there were sparks.

I had a saw with a bust capacitor so I asked the 'spark' if it was a certian type? meaning the positioning of the bolts, wires etc. He told me to ask for a 16 UF capacitor.
I asked what UF was. he said it stood for unified farad.

There are sparks and then there are sparks.

Peteff - 20/4/06 at 07:53 PM

I don't understand that .

(Is it a micro farad?)

caber - 20/4/06 at 08:36 PM

When you've finished and have half a minute to jot down some fag-packet drawings (assuming it works as intended of course) can I have a copy please?

i meant no disrespect with home made, but by the lack of cast parts, or paint, you'd assume it was made at home, or as a one off.

however, professional means you do it for a living, expert means you know what you're up to UF! lol

still a cool tool
