Mig Welder

Well I've gone and done it.... I've killed my Mig may it rest in peace.

Anyone know where I can pick up another one? Don't really fancy paying over the odds for a 2nd rate one in B&Q. So does anyone know of any online shops that are selling them cheap?

Not interested in a pro one just a lil hobbyest type thingy as mostly it'll only be used for the welding of the chassis.

As alway any help advice always very gratefully received.

Migatronic 161 is a good machine, proper british made (just up the road from me) quality.

Nope, but they look to me to be from the same factory as clarke stuff.

On a low budget I would go for one of these two, both from the same factory in italy that makes the Sealey stuff, nicely made machines, easy to get bits for, much better built than sip and clarke stuff in my experience:

They're the ones screwfix sell aren't they. Do look very much like the hobby ones from machine mart.

Yeah.

Screwfix is the cheapest (my 2nd favourite word) ones I've seen. Unfortuately I become unemployed in 2 weeks time so can't afford to splash out.

My brother got a sealey 185mig for under £400 a while back from a local dealer but when we opended the box out came a 195. A very good welder easy to use and set up. Will weld 2mm box with ease. It may have been on special offer though
