would think that is enough for a one tonne sierra!

Look fairly normal sized to me? Used to have some monster ones when I worked for an agricultural engineering company, for supporting tractors when splitting the gearbox from the engine.

Iv got some at work that are 3 foot high tripods and extend to 5 foot. I think they are 3 tonne rated.

Id love to get something to lift my cars high enough for private work at home!!!
