Cortina hub nuts???

What size socket do i need to remove the hub nuts on cortina uprights?

Am changing my discs soon and not near car so want to check i have the correct tools.

from memory off the top of my head its 22mm, anyone confirm that?

I've just measured my nuts (settle pettal) and I concur 27mm AF.

You shouldn't need a socket as the nut should NEVER be tight. Just tighten until all slack is taken out of bearings then back off the tiniest amount . Over tightening the nut will cause the bearings to sieze and possibly shear the stub axle . Saw the results of overtight hub nut years ago on a Ford Anglia. Stub axle sheared and inner bearing friction welded to remains of stub axle .
