Can anyone recommend one of those long term battery chargers which keep your battery charged over winter?
I have a normal battery charger but obviously can't leave that permanently connected.

Has to be the one - they are about £35 and usually fitted on bikes...
come with 2 sets of tails normally, a set of croc clips and a hardwired set so if you want to use it on 2 vehicles you could.
Come up on Fleabay quite often

CBS do a smart battery charger that can be left on.
never used it though.

Just to add a bit of diversity, I use an "Intelligent" Draper charger, works fine as far as I can tell

Don't know how good they are, but Halfords do one for £20 that they say can be left permanently connected.
When my car's in the garage it's left connected up to an Accumate. As it's an aged x-flow it's always good to have a fully charged
battery on those cold mornings!

you dont need one. just get out and drive it over winter too
Just came across this one.LIDL
But don't know if you could keep it on at all times.
I have a Hafrauds one that I have used over 3 years keeping a leisure battery up to charge with no problems.
