best way to cut dials into a carbon fibre dash please !!!!!

I masked up with masking tape, drilled a couple of pilot holes and used a jigsaw

mask up with masking tape and use a hole cutter.

masking tape and a hole saw on a nice slow speed. Will help if you use a pillar drill rather than doing it by hand - you'll get much better control and a neater hole.
