might be a dumb question but where is the best point on my Indy to jack it up?
newbie
under the diff
have the jack face against the chassis rail where any suspension pick up is or where a T is formed between two chassis members
Just a note, I've got duct tape over my jack faces, ideal for jacking on the box section, but watch it can slide.
Did you notice on the front cover of Ron's book (the second edition) that there was a jack lying on the floor. I use to find that quite funny as
it's a normal production car jack and not much use on a Locost.
Or so I thought, have a closer look at the floor line under the steering wheel and what's that, a jacking point!
The shifty sod he never mentioned that in the book or I haven't noticed it.
After the SVA test that's what I'm going to fit to mine
