Good grief that's nice
Incredible, that’s the highest standard I’ve ever seen on a model plane. Looking at the interior you would never guess it wasn’t the real thing.
Simply a work of art.

Good god! that is amazing!
I can only imagine what this guy is like to talk to in real life....
Can you imagine what his locost would look like if he built one:S
makes me shudder to be honest, i hate fiddly small things and that is loads of them put together! Must've taken bloody years (about 9 id guess! )
Hmmm. Surely for a similar amount of effort he could have come up with a working replica??
Looks impressive though.
It took 11 years , nice

Completely functional 1/3 scale Ferrari 312PB, with 100cc flat 12, 24valve engine, working gearbox, the lot. 15 years from drawings to
completion...

I'm not convinced. He's used brakepipe flexi's in the cockpit. Amature........
That's awesome. I've got a few years experience on spitfire's, very convincing, the detail is fantastic, right down to the flexi's in the cockpit for the brake system.
What about this then?

If my full size NOS tank looks that good I'll be made up!
There was an article in a local newspaper about a lady in Spalding, Lincs who'd built a full size Spit in her (large) garage as she was disappointed when she took her disabled son to Duxford he couldn't touch the ones there She got the blueprints, engaged the help of an ex Spit spannerman, used her engineering degree and nous and built the thing. In the articel she was after somewhere bigger to put it as she chouldn't put the wings on it in her garage
