These guys are doing cutters now. Giving you the Gaurantee etc. Know of one guy in electronics who has bought one and says they are good

Anything that can slice through 5mm of steel plate quicker and cleaner than a hacksaw or an oxy acetylene torch and at half the cost is the best thing since sliced bread in my book.

Fifty fleffin' amps! Is it three phase or meant to be wired direct to your meter?

i dont think it will actuall draw 50 amps, thats just the cutting power which will be at a lower voltage. he says you can cut 1" on a 20amp supply.

From detaills "It cuts 8mm cleanly from standard 13A supply". The current from the mains will be less than the lowvoltage used at the cutting end...

These plasmas are a good peice of kit, I have had 1 for a coulpe of years now.
No problems rumming off a 13A plug.

They are brill. I have a little one from the last group buy. Mine has the MMA function on it. I have a little bit of experience with a stick welder and if I had the oppertunity again I could weld up the Seven frame with one of these Inverter Arc models no probs.
Much smoother and controllable than an AC Buzzbox. Stainless with 316 rods is nice. Haven`t even bothered using the Tig on mine yet.
