New Toy
Should save a fortune at the local M/c shop.

Got to go and make something

Looks like fun - who's that made by then? Suitable for light milling work I would guess?

Cheers

Ooo, my eyes have gone all green.

Is that a converted pillar drill or was it made that way?
The chuck looks a bit lightweight for anything serious but it could be quite useful.

Think you'll find the chuck is either on a taper or threaded so you can easily remove is to work with a cutter/collet type setup.

Looks like a morse taper jobby and judging by the worm wheel on the feed mech, I'd say it was designed for light milling as well as drilling.

In the model engineering world they're regarded as a useful mill - can't do anything too heavy, but effective for small and light work. Certainly good enough for model work, and other light machining.
