Nordlock® Anti-vibration Washers
are designed to prevent the loosening of bolted assemblies due to vibration.
Used in pairs, their operation depends on surface cam angles which are greater than the thread helix angle of the bolts with which they are used.
* Suitable for use at all vibrational frequencies and amplitudes, with shock or static loads
* Unaffected by temperatures or lubricants
Re-usable
* Can be used with all HT bolts up to 12.9 grade
* Yellow zinc chromated steel finish

They are great, and do work very well.

Normal spring washers are more touble than they are worth, usually breaking and probably cause more loose bolts than they prevent.

norlock washers on the other hand are brill!

RS sell them, box of 50, so presumabley 25 pairs.

Normal spring washers are awful. I have been removing them from my old cars for years and will not fit them.

Been using those for years, I have a brother that's working in a large machinery construction company and alwas provides lunchboxes full of bolts washers and nordlock rings....

PS when using M10 with nordlich don't be surprized if the spanner brakes clean in half these are really really tight!
