bending 19mm tube

help

i am at the point of bending the rear panel supports RP1 and RP2 on my haynes roadster chassis i have tried the locost way but it didnt work. i have been looking for a pipe bender but can only find 15 and 22mm benders will these do the job???? or does it have to be 19mm

or is there anyone up here(Glasgow) that can assist for beer tokens

Hi there, life is a funny thing. I just did that job yesterday using my 20mm bender. You can borrow it if you want.
I live in Motherwell.

Any sparkies will have a 20mm bender try an industrial building site I'm sure they'd do it at tea break for you.

I cheated and cut up an old school chair !

Two nicely formed bends for free.

You can wrap the pipe tightly in paper and tape up to the bender dia you're using/have, I did that with my cooling pipes and it worked a charm.

I just filled mine with sand, used a bit of heat and slowly bent it round. The hardest bit is making them the same

I just bashed mine around the rounded bit of my bench vice!
