Dremel-type tool, but with a flexible extension shaft, hanging bracket for motor and accessories. Since I've just managed to break my Argos-made Dremel copy I'll probably have a punt.
Also got an accessory kitfor same.

I've had one of those for about 3 years now and it's very handy for all kinds of stuff. My wife uses it for miniatures and I've used it for cutting, drilling and engraving with some small burrs, very versatile and the price is good.

We had that exact same thing on sale at aldi's a few years back, mine has seen some real abuse and is still going strong 3years+.

except for the head/collet of the flexible piece, there is a tiny little bearing in it and that seperated from it's plastic housing on mine.

must say that since recently it has started to produce more and more noise. but still going. (milling a slot in a 6mm alloy plate is a little to much I think)

I do spares for these tools like cutting discs etc
ive got one a must for the locost builder

For these sort of jobs I use a thing I have never seen for sale (I;ve had it for years) which I call a pen grinder.

Its about the size of a marker pen and air driven, a bit like a slower revving dentists drill. Its very powerful for its size and difficult to stall.

Anybody else used one?
