I thought Dickies where quite cheep?

Halfords of all places sell their stuff at pretty reasonable prices.

ARCO also do their own brand stuff thats not supposed to be too bad.

What workware exactly were you after?

I stock up on trackkie bottoms from Primark for about the same price. Nice and warm and comfy. Elasticated waistband too. Was welding in a pair at the weekend and was pleasantly surprised that the sparks didnt burn through despite being man made fibre.

I've got Snickers trousers and wear them day in day out for work.. they do wear eventually but I probably buy about 1 pair a year.. at a stretch 2 pairs but they are about £35 a pair!.

Halfords definately do Dickies at around or cheeper than £15 a pair (might need a Trade card).

Wickes also do a pair with pads for about £15 and I think they might be Dickies aswell.

ARCO do their own brand, a fella at work got some and they seem to be wearing up ok so far but only time will tell, I think they were under £20 as well.

Ah.. another one I remember looking at now B&Q have also started doing a range of workwear as well at pretty reasonable prices.

The kneepads are definately worth paying the extra for.. I was strongly advised to always wear the trousers so I didn't end up with bad knee's in the first place!.
Pretty much everything you throw at the snickers wipes off dirt dust sparks etc, DeWalt stuff off Ebay seems pretty good as well but there the top end stuff.

What would you say knackers yours up or how... could you wear some cheep jogging bottoms over the top to protect them?.
