Sweet
Do you think it would cope with ally?

i made a small cnc plasmer at work a few years ago but now ive started making one with a 6ft by 4ft bed and a cutskill 100 amp plasmer that can cut 30mm. ill put some pics up when ive done some more to it.

yupsz

alloy should be no problem...

only thing will be not mill size > 8 and and no 2mm @ 800mm/minute i guess

basicly it can cut everything but thing is speed....

Well it sure looks nice but has a distinct 'this was expensive to make' feel about it. Do you know how much it actually cost to build?

tks - 20/3/08 at 03:23 PM

well i bought it for much less then it did cost

saying that its like a car..

depending on what you use you can build it yourself

search on the net guys have used wood and old printers and much cheaper ways of bearing all the axes..

for example a bush/slide bearing..

it will depend what you want to do with it..

-My room is 1000mm x 550mm x 120mm approx.
-spinde is 32.000rpm (10K min.)
-max speed (tested) = 3500mm/min.

precision will be 0,02mm i guess but we are still adjusting and measuring.

Tks
