I use something like this for my car. It fits under the diff for raising the rear of the car but I have to push the car onto some wooden blocks to get
it under the front.

I think you'll struggle to get a trolley type jack under the front of most seven style cars.
I just use our normal low entry trolley jack, just use a block of wood or a rubber pad to avoid the disc causing any damage.

i use a normal halfords troley jack, on the rear it will fit onto one of the cross members below the diff or on the front it will fit onto the bones or steering rack bolts.

we have this but i have made a replacement flat plate for the MK, a little lifting for the front is needed.
Machine Mart vat free days are coming up.
so if you pick it up thats £77
doubt you will find cheaper.
peterborough's vat free day is this sunday and the sunday after to give you an idea.

I modded a standard £20 Halfrauds trolley jack to make it lower in profile - basically just removed the swivel part and replaced it with a double thickness rubber pad made from an old car mat.
As razman, but us a used a bit of hardboard! Find that I need to lift the front slighting as it's touch an go, but it works. I always lower her
down onto blocks of wood to ensure I can withdraw the jack!

Another vote for this one, bought off ebay.
lifted up my 3 ton minicoach,no problem,so well up to job, rubber pad helps stop the powdercoat getting damaged too.

I have a normal jack to move the car around, but I made a Quicklift Jack (Identical to the one below) for when I want the car up in the air!

cheers for all the replies.
all my mates have agreed we need a communal jack for track days as we normally have a "fleet" of cars there, so we all chipped in for a low
entry Sealey jack. 2 tonne.
Needs to lift, Busa Westie, R1 MK, Clio Cup Racer and a very low EVO 9 too.
Cheers for ya help.
Cheap Axel Stands?
I know this thread hasn't been updated for a bit, but in case it's useful, Costco's aluminium jack works a treat. It's not the
cheapest at £83, but is a bit cheaper than the "racing"-type jacks. You can get easily get the jack and a piece of 2x2 under the front or
back of the mk.
Plus, they have a no-quibble money-back policy...
