square drive bit
locoboy - 23/5/08 at 07:56 AM

I am raplacing the floor in a trailer at work and i have some flush flooring screws that you just drill straight through the flooring and into the metal chassis with.

They have a 5mm square hole in the head for driving with.

Anyone any ideas where i can get a bit to suit it?

Thanks

They're called square recess insert bits, a lot of the cheap box sets have them in.

They are called Robertson screws interesting history.

This set claims to have some square bits, but I can't see what sizes.

Hi

Most good electrical stockest will have screw drivers to fit these, the most comom brand for these screwdrivers is screwlux, as sold by the CEF (city electrical group)
