fuel hose clips?
Slater - 20/6/08 at 12:03 PM

Hi, can I use jubilee clips for braided or rubber fuel hose or must you use the special fuel hose clips?

I allready have the jubilee clips from another project, just want to make sure it's OK to use them.

Some SVA inspectors may take a dislike to them - it's a lottery.

The proper clips are best, as they don't distort the tube.

Keith go to jrd's in ellon mate they have them in packs of 2 in differing sizes among all the fuse/trimclips/bolts packs etc on the right of the shop as you go in. IIRC pence only for a pair.

I've seen too many fuel leaks caused by Jubilee clips to even consider using them .
