Hi, can I use jubilee clips for braided or rubber fuel hose or must you use the special fuel hose clips?
I allready have the jubilee clips from another project, just want to make sure it's OK to use them.
Keith
Some SVA inspectors may take a dislike to them - it's a lottery.
The proper clips are best, as they don't distort the tube.
i would use the proper clips, just to be safe.
you can get then from here
stuart
Used jubilees and SVA man was happy but might have been luck....
Keith go to jrd's in ellon mate they have them in packs of 2 in differing sizes among all the fuse/trimclips/bolts packs etc on the right of the shop as you go in. IIRC pence only for a pair.
OK Cheers for replies. I'll try that place in Ellon

I've seen too many fuel leaks caused by Jubilee clips to even consider using them .
