Don't know about cheapest, but screwfix are very convenient and good if things go pear shaped.

So for reference if nothing else

I have an 18v Makita that cost me £99 and a Ryobi that cost about £45. Recently one of the Ryobi batteries has died but other than that the Ryobi drill has more torque, more RPM feels better made than the Makita. Certainly I'll be buying another as I feel in this instance the Makita is inferior to the cheap brand. Just my 2p.

Makita Li-ion drill hey - very swish. None of these cheap(er) Ni-Cad ones for you then hey!!

As before then Screwfix would get my vote although you can buy them a little cheaper online if you know the model you want, ie the following one is £250 at Screwfix and about £231 delivered here. I'd go with Screwfix myself to be honest though - just in case.

I bought a 14.4v DeWalt drill, and have been very happy with it. The price was ~£110, for the drill, two batteries and a charger. The batteries seem to last forever (had the drill for 3 months, and only recharged 3 times!).
