fatfranky - 11/10/08 at 10:42 AM

I know people often ask on here

"whats the best/quickest way of cutting chassis tubes?"

noticed this on Aldi's special offers tomorrow, never used a rage saw myself, may be of use to someone, opinions welcome

ive used one on 1" rebar, seems to work ok but blades wore out quick if you let them get hot and wernt cheap,on light box and tube they will prob be ok

Damn.............look's like I'll be getting up early Sunday morning and dashing down to my local Aldi !
I'm getting really fed up with breaking hacksaw blade's and banging my knuckles on the vice

I believe that saw can only cut at 90 degrees.

I have the Rage3 which is basically a cut off/mitre/bevel saw. It does the job nicely and I think it was £150.
