Hi.
MNR sells a "Quick Rack Kit ( shortened to your requirements)".
What is your opinion on using a quick one vs. the normal one?
Thanks in advance,
Joao
I have the MNR quick rack and I have had no problems with it. I admit I've only driven it to and from the SVA and MOT centres but it seems
fine.
The steering is only slightly heavy at, say, 5 MPH witha 15" sierra wheel and once moving along is just fine. That said, it is lighter than a
Sazo with manual steering. If you were to fit a smaller wheel then it will be heavier.
The up side, I am told, is that you get sharper steering responses; something I haven't had the opportunity to evaluate myself.
The main reason for using a quick rack is it can save your bacon when the tail steps out.
Quick rack all the way for me Joao. I cant recall the turns of standard and the quick rack but IMHO its a very good improvement.

definitely quick rack....As soon as I used the standard one it had to go in the bin - waaay too much lock to lock........
QUICKRACK!!
definitely adds much to the fun of the car!!
Yup Definately a quickrack- transforms the car and, as already mentioned can help arrest unanticipated back end slides!!
yep quickrack every time for me
