Ok so Im running a facet pump and filter king for my pinto on twin 40 dcoes.
im thinking of locating the pump above the fuel tank in the diff areaand the filter king as close to the carbs as i can get.

That will work just fine

This will work fine as snapper said...but...the pump should be mounted below the fuel level to put constant pressure on the back of the pump. If you can, mount it like that.

if you have the facet solid state interrupter pump (looks like a cube) then these are push type pumps - spo as ^^^ says, mount low as possible.

I have one in my Land Rover mouunted about level with the top of the tank and never given any problem, admitedly having a 3.5 l v8 in it I don;t do that many moles..

Also fit a filter prior to the pump.

Im Running one of These so no need to worry about a filter as built in.

Still put a plastic filter prior to the pump as you can see the dirt in the filter. If it is in the pump you wont look!!
