Broken compressor - help needed

My Cosmoair 2hp compressor has stopped working and I've traced the fault to a broken piece of steel that acts like a non-return valve.

It's 0.2mm thick and 12mm x 30mm and I can't find anyone that either sells spare parts or steel sheet in that thickness.

Can anyone help?

Sound like reed valves. Could fashion a replacement from steel shimstock readily available, search the Bay.

If it's the bit under the cylinder head you might get one as part of a service kit from SIP if they do a compressor the same spec, they are the same company.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Thanks everyone. Use a bit of a tin lid as suggested and works like a dream.
