What do you want to do with it
if its tyres or cooling system then that would be ok but exhaust temps needs a higher reading type

I have this one. It works pretty well.
I presume your detailing / refinishing paint with a porter cable or similar and don't want to overheat the panels...

I use DA on plastic (bumpers, grp etc) and the rotary on metal.
The temp gauge is more for the rotary than the da.
(yes i do have a ptg already)
