help routing handbrake cable

thanks Richard thats what I thought I see you have an aries was yours modified or did you find a solution and if you have a handbrake leaver on the side of the tunnel what leaver did you use. regards Arthur

Generally it's better to reply to an existing thread rather than start a new one. It helps keep everything together.

Mine's a Rally Design lever mounted on the top. IIRC there's either a plate or piece of angle at the rear of the tunnel. Drill two 15mm holes at 90mm centres and cut a slot through the metal at the bottom of each of the holes (so that you can pass the cable through). The plastic end and adjuster then fit into the 15mm holes. This then puts the saddle thing horizontal in the top of the tunnel ready to connect up to whatever lever you use.

In case this helps... Look at the upper left corner of the pic, you can see the 3 holes on a plate welded to the chassis tube.

This is a very recent Aries chassis.
