Riveting thread...
.. no it truely is!
Just wanted some opinions on the finish of these rivets..... up to scratch?
They are 4x9.5 domed and countersunk. Used a 2mm (ish) M/S test plate and offcuts from the ally panels that came with the steel.
The domed is on left, the countersunk are the 3 to the right and the bottom one is through the steel and 2 sheets of the ally.

Got them from Zygology in High wycombe. Very helpful chaps, and gave me these as free sample to try out.
Price is £22/1000 and £19.37/1000 + VAT respectively - seems reasonable to me?

I countersink the holes very slightly on all 4 sides before riveting as it avoids stress risers and the sheets fit closer together. Apart from that
they look like waterproofish rivets 
You'd be surprised how quickly the sales people at B&Q try and assist you after ignoring you for the past 15 minutes when you try and start a
chainsaw

I mainly wanted to be sure the 'bulge' on the back looked adequate.
Also whats the trick to blindly deburring? (if there is one)

Use an M12 drill bit and spin it over the holes by hand. Takes the burrs off nicely.

or one of these for blind holes, but there very pricey. Not sure the axminster one will do blind holes unless theyre above around
5mm+.burraway

The trick is to fit your panels using clecos, remove them and deburr the holes then refit with rivets.
