Help - MIG welder won't work

I have a Clarke 150 TE that is over 10 years old although it is used only occassionaly. The wire feed motor seems to be the problem. It makes a noise ( click ) when triggered a bit like a starter motor with low battery voltage. The motor spindle can be turned by hand so it is not seized. I am guessing there is some kind of engagement mechanism that is blocked. The part does not look like it can be easily disassembled . Any suggestions on how to reactivate it or do I need a replacement motor. I have searched and haven't found a source of Clarke spares yet. I am in Essex. TIA.

Mine went years ago, have a look at the PCB for burnt tracks, I soldered a bit of wire across mine. Problem resolved.

Regards Mark

Some spares , they're also likely to have whatever you need if you ring them up.

I have a similar Clark Mig, mines a 130E, MK2, approx 20 yearsoldl. I need a new drive wheel for mine last year and dropped them an email with my mobile number in it. A really good bloke rand me the next morning and took all my details.

The new part was with me by 10o'clock the next morning. I could not fault the service I received.
Hope you get sorted.

Kind regards
Jon
