SPL Meter

Bit of a long shot but does anyone have an SPL meter in the thames valley area (I'm in Reading) i could borrow for a day or two? I need to check my car before a trackday this weekend. Been told by the previous owner that it was about 102dB but 102 is the limit for the day and its a long drive only to be turned away.

Thanks

Tim

We tried a maplin one on mine pre iva and it was quite far out.

Interestingly though my mate had a sound meter app on his iphone which was very close to what the iva testers was, certainly more accurate than the other one, so if you've got a smartphone it might be worth a try
