Ferm Mig Welders
Does anyone have any experience of Ferm mig welders as sold by Screwfix? I know you get what you pay for but the price seems comparable with the
Clarke range sold by Machine Mart on VAT free days.

Most likely they are made in the same factory as SIP and Machine Mart. I've not seen inside one but the others look very similar. With Screwfix
returns policy I would be confident that they are alright, I've not had any problem getting faulty gear replaced. (Angle grinder burnt out)

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Hi Tony,
Other than the name on the front, these look EXACTLY the same as the Sealey range of Mig machines. I've got the Sealey version of the
130T, this has built my entire locost project and much more besides, with no major problems. With Ferm prices, and, as Pete says Screwfix backup, they
look a good deal to me.

Have got a few Ferm products (not welder thought) and quite impressed. Took my belt sander apart for a clean the other day and the quality and good.
