Metal "codes"

Chaps,

Apparently I can use my ESAB C150 for welding ally.

In the back of the instruction manual there are some wire specs eg Fe which I gather is steel/ SS - Stainless and the one I cant get is AlMg5

Any clues please.

Thanks

Simon

I believe this was used to weld-up our exhaust manifold block spur which was cracked/split. Due to the Magnesium (5%) It is slightly harder than standard aluminium but retains the fluidity of aluminium.
