Engine Analyzer (How???)
On a whim I bought myself a cheap and cheerful engine analyzer from Maplins. It was cheap because they'd lost the box etc so I've got no
instructions. Its the:
Mastech MS 6231
Doesn't seem very complicated does rpm, dwell, temp and usual multimetre tricks.....but I've got no idea how to use all the feature as its
got no instructions! I looked on the Mastech website and it lists it and tells you the features but no manuals!
Has anyone got this one or does anyone know how to use them in general?? Cheers Oli.

Oli, The temp should be a thermocouple of some sort, did you get one with the kit? Dwell and RPM are measured between the coil connection from the
points and ground, RPM says the same as your rev counter and dwell will be meaningless with your megajolt, it gives you the points duration timing for
conventional points if you have any vehicles with such things!

Cheers, didn't get a thermocouple and there doesn't appear to be any plug for it either....I'll bring it down south next week and
you can have a play see if you can work it out! Cheers Oli.
