Compression Test on BEC?
In the middle of rebuilding my engines at the moment and was going to compression test them, but I can't see how!
My plugs are about 4" down from the cam cover and the spark plug spanner is about 6" long.
Linky to Screwfix Tester
How do you screw that in tight? Does it come apart?
Confused

just screw the tube in finger tight. It should be enough to nip up the rubber O ring.
Be careful if you have a screw on extension piece to reduce the thread diameter. when I did mine, only the tube came out. I had to put a drop of
super glue on the larger thread and screw it back in quickly to get the reducer out.

My old fashioned comp tester, long deceased
didn't screw into the spark plug hole, it just had a big rubber cone shaped end, which you pressed hard into the hole while cranking the motor.
maybe you could knock up something similar to adapt yours? that way you could just shove it into the hole in the cam cover.

It dosnt need to be that tight, it only seals on the "O" ring, so you should be able to feed it down the plug hole, twiddle it around and
rotate the rubber pipe until it is nipped up.
Steve.
oops a bit slow there!
