I was looking at these last night. They seem quite good but I was put off by the £181 postage costs

Almost as if they were already in the country - mmmmmmmmmmmmmm

If you can keep you head, whilst all others around you are losing theirs, you are not fully aware of the situation

even with the postage cost this is still half the price of any alternatives and probably have the same components inside! they say that the value is declared at £150 so at the worst customs will be about £40.
butters are about £1300 for the same spec, and funnily enough the same case if you look close enough.
time will tell anyway and will let you know how i get on.

The worst case is if it goes missing in transit! £150 declared? That means thats all its insured for!

Good luck!

If its broke, fix it. If it aint broke, take it apart and find out how it works!

Well fortune favours the brave. It may do you years and it actually looks quite good.
The on off switch looks the same as my Linn Sondek. Just be careful with the old footpedal.......Look what happened to Jess Yates

Jess Yates?

Did he have a welding accident? What happened to him apart from Hughie Green shagging his wife and fathering his daughter, I think you're safe from that problem Mind you there's still Bruce Forsyth to keep an eye open for . There are a lot of these type welders on Alibaba and they all look similar, I think a lot of firms are rebadging them and charging top whack for them. If you can bypass the middleman good luck. If Linn Sondek are using the same parts there might even be an mp3 player version in the pipeline.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
