Where to buy a Rivnut tool on the high street
Does anyone know where to buy a rivnut tool from a high street shop. I don't want to wait for delivery from a t'internet purchase.
I've checked machine mart and screwfix but nothing comes up.

Have you tried your local nut and bolt suppliers?????.
Beware of the Goldfish in the tulip mines. The ONLY defence against them is smoking peanut butter sandwiches.

I looked into this a while back.
I ended u p buying a Drapw kit from my local ye olde tool shoppe - main reason was that quite a few people break the mandrils and by going for a know
brand plus local shop meant in theory it would be easier/cheaper to source a new one.
ebay do a few and CBS sell one.

If you're in a hurry the DIY rivnut tool nut + washer trick works though its a pain if you've got lots to do....

Our local bolt supplier Permafast near Chesterfield has them, where in Nottingham are you?
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
