Screwfix Trade Counters
Do they stock tools or is it mostly bits + pieces they sell. I know they have drill bits but I'm looking to buy a bench drill and it's a
PITA to take a trip over there is they don't stock them. Unfortunately there's no way of checking their stock levels- which is quite silly
considering they're a computerised company....
I don't want to keep on getting stuff delivered to work (I think eventually they may get fed up!!!) and I'm rarely at home which is a
problem for deliveries...
If anyone's bought power tools from them please let me know and I'll take a trip over there

they now have a direct to branch number for checking stock or they do at the one in bradford anyway should be on there main site somewhere i use them
a lot for consumabales at work and there is no real hard and fast rule as to what they have in stock hope this helps

From my experience they have some pretty weird and wonderful things in stock as well as the usual higher volume stuff. I'm surprised they
can't tell you over the phone. The Edinburgh counter I use can.

Well the only number I've found it 0845 850 6161 which I think is their general "trade counters" phone line. I'm going to give
it a try and see what happens

Don't know about any of their other branches but the Cambridge branch is open until 8pm during the week , till about 6pm on sat and is also
open sundays . So far they have always had stock of everything I wanted . Have you tried your local phone book ?

Theyv had all the big tools iv wanted. They seem to have the big stuff but not the smaller stuff.
Just order it online and itl be at yours next day.

The one at Staples Corner has never been out of stock for anything I've been after.
