To be honest i'd rather pay the extra and get one of the rotating ones that adjust to fit the engine directly. Looks a lot of hastle to make
mounts for that one to suit your engine.
this sort
under £50

True, but not as locost as 10ft of box section, a shopping trolley donor from the supermarket (they sell them for £1 apparently) and an hour
with the welder.

I have a sealey engine stand that I have had an xflow on for a couple of months going free if any one wants it.
Was given it myself on the basis that I passed it on. - its rotatable and is only 6 months old.
I am in the wolverhampton area if anyone wants it.

I got one of these. couldnt get my twink to fit to it its too wide for a normal four banger.
its currently in the three pieces it came in after being used purely as a trolley to move the gearbox around on.
Can let you have it for £5 plus postage if you really want one

Sod that as an Engine Stand....
What about making a Locost Build Trolley out of it. Its got the wheels (cost you more than £14.99 alone).
Just needs a bigger bed welding on the top, or cutting in half and lengthening.
Its a good starting point for a build trolley.
1. The point of a journey is not to arrive.
2. Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.
Best Regards
