What size pop rivets do I need?

I'll soon be fitting the ali panels to my chassis. (I just have to finish welding it, paint it, and cut the panels out first - maybe not that soon then!)

The floor is 2mm ali, the rest is 1.2mm ali, the chassis tubes are all the usual 1.6mm ERW tube.

So what are the ideal sizes of pop rivets i need for either thickness of panel?

Thanks!

Sam

4mm diameter x 10 long closed end, to prevent water ingress. The length could be a little shorter, but not less than 8mm.

I'd definately use 4.8's for the floor, but 3.2's are fine for everything else.

I've built 2 this way with no problems.

Bead all the chassis tubes with silicone or like to prevent vibration and water ingress.

Pat...
