recommend me a plasma cutter
im looking to invest in a plasma cutter, any recommendations or sets for sale?
Logic will get you from a A to B
Imagination will take you everywhere.

i bought a clarke one, works fine. Stopped for a few years til i realised it just needed a new tip! Works fine again. Was something like 450 i think.

look at the price of the consumables, I have a cerboro one, big mistake as the tips cost £££
Cannot convert to a cheap head as its not HF start, right pain in the rear.

I got me one of the Chinese ones. A 40amp Berlan. Its an obvious Chinese one even though it came from Germany off E-blag, but I've had no
problems with it at all. Supposed to cut 10mm, but in reality 6mm tops. I use it for thin plate up to about 3mm and rusty Mini panels and its great,
just flies though the thin stuff. Consumables cheap also.
