Have you seen the price of the consumable filament!

Who is the first person to replace the melt head with a MIG torch?

Gonna need to shield the electronics a lot better if you're using a MIG nearby.

We acquired a 'RapMan' for our deparment . I teach Technical Education or "techy" as it's known in Scotland.

Our pupils seemed to have no problem with the concept of a 3D printer...

We've been producing models in ProENGINEER exporting as .STL and converting to G Code using Skeinforge.

The filament is about £45 for 5kg at the moment.
