Special spanner

Hi all can anyone tell me where i can get the spanner to remove the top of the fuel filter cannister on a Vauxhall vectra C
dti sri [ diesel ] .
I have asked Snap on and they don't do them

Or has anyone got one they can take a photo so i can see how to make one

Injust used a pluming tool called a boa-constrictor.

It has a rubber strap and a handle. I think it's normally used for removing catch bowls on u bends under sinks!

have you got a photo of what you're trying to take off? for us that have never seen it, might know what you could use

Might be worth having a look at the Sealey catalogue, they do several filter tools

I used one of these last time but i did not like it the filter box is made of plastic and the boa seams to put strain on one side

the tool that is used in this link is not right for the job it only presses on 3 lugs not 6 and these lids are very FT
