I got a bottle of Hobbyweld gas last week, thought it was quite a good deal.

Whats a good deal please ? I need some for my mig but already paying stupid money on the boc argon rental. (untill It runs out)
Not a dealer within 70m but atleast the delivery charge is cheap. Boc charge me that to collect then I have the same again in petrol.

Found a stockist local to me (with prices)
http://www.russellgas.co.uk/id50.htm
For occasional hobby use these make sense - but as I use a lot of gas I will stick to my BOC Y size bottles
(despite the £100 per year rental :mad
I might go for their oxygen as I only use this with mapp gas for heating stubborn nuts and occasional brazing.
There is a £50 deposit on the bottle - hopefully the bottles don't go out of test whilst on hire.

Near the bottom of the page "contact your local Stockist" I paid £50 deposit and £25 for the gas.

I have a full size argon/co2 mix that I 'bought' through the free-ads paper. I just take it to the local 'Air Products' dealer
and swap for a full one for £45 cash....
