When the trigger is pulled the wire come outs, but in a stop start fashion, we have tried mostthings, but any help would be greatly appricated, as

Wire
Try a new spool of wire. If the existing one has become unwound or is a little "sticky" from sitting around it could cause it to bind in
the gun. Also, I am sure you already checked the roller tension on the feed....
David.
and if all else fails, just send me the 11 body

Try unscrewing the tip, and see if it feeds ok, if so replace the tip. If not it could be the liner thats knackered. can you disconnect the torch lead
from the welder.
if you can, try feeding without it on, if the rollers are pushing it out ok it must be something after them thats causing the sticking.
Other than that, as suggested it could be a bad batch of wire.
Silly thought but the welders not set to spot weld is it?
Good luck Al.

I had that with a sip 130 autoplus.
It was a long time ago but the problem was a transistor on the feed controller board. It was fixed under warranty and only took minutes.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Have you tried the tension on the wire spool, not the feed but the actual spool. If it is too tight you get drag and the wire can burn back into the
tip, too loose and you get flywheel effect (similar to what you are complaining of). The wire is pulled by the feed rollers, but the spool turns
freely and overtakes the rollers, then slows again and the cycle repeats - snatch & pull.
If you are using a spool which is too big for the welder, the problem is amplified - my clark 140 will take a 15kg reel, but the feed cannot cope with
it.
The other favorite is a partially blocked liner, metal dust builds up and prevents smooth feed. A good blow out with an airline cures this.
If you can keep you head, whilst all others around you are losing theirs, you are not fully aware of the situation
