Aldi have automated chargers next week.

I'm tempted to get one just to get rid of the brick of a charger that I have now, any guesses on how good it'll be as a trickle charger?

I have the earlier Lidl version that used LEDs rather an LCD display, a very good charger that can be left permanently on but if the 230v supply
goes down for any reason it has to be manually reset when the 230v is restored. The simpler plug to power supply type will go back on when the
power goes back on.
I would also advise holding on to your brick charger for putting an initial charge into very flat batteries.

Those CD/MP3 Players are good in Aldi also, put them in the vans for the bluetooth handsfree, work a treat.
